Amy graduated with a bachelor's degree in applied science-retailing from Miami University in Ohio. She worked as a department store buyer in Indianapolis for several years before relocating to Florida. Later, she earned her MBA degree from the University of North Florida and her accounting degree from Florida Atlantic University, becoming a CPA. With over 30 years of public accounting experience, Amy primarily worked with a local firm in Martin County, where she provided both audit and tax services and eventually became the audit partner. She then spent several years assisting a small local firm before joining Holyfield & Thomas in January 2024, where she continues to provide both audit and tax services. Amy is a member of the Sailfish Chapter of the FICPA, where she served as an officer for many years. She is also a member of the AICPA. Additionally, Amy is an active member of Soroptimist International of Stuart, Florida, and a past officer. She previously served as the treasurer for the United Way of Martin County and its Foundation. In all her roles, Amy embodies professionalism, integrity and a commitment to excellence, making her a trusted partner for all accounting needs.
