James R. Holyfield, CPA †

Jim Holyfield (1940-2007) was the firm’s founder and the Director of Audit Services. Jim spent twenty years with the international firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), including ten years as an audit partner. He had an extensive background in the areas of not for profit organizations, real estate, health care, broadcasting and publishing. Jim was very active in the community through his involvement in organizations such as United Way and Goodwill Industries. Jim also served in a number of high-ranking positions in genealogical and ancestral organizations, and most recently served as the Assistant General of the Society of Mayflower Descendants, State Governor of the Society of Colonial Wars, and past president of the Sons of the American Revolution.
