Paul M. Bertoni

Paul Bertoni joined the firm in 2008 and currently serves as a manager in the audit department.  Paul has successfully passed all four sections of the Uniform CPA Exam and is currently in the process of obtaining his CPA licensure in the state of Florida. With extensive experience in audit services, he addresses the unique needs and challenges of our cornerstone industries, which include not-for-profits, employee benefit plans, country clubs, and small businesses. Paul is instrumental in the training and professional development of our staff and senior auditors. As a leader of the firm's industry knowledge team, he has presented on critical topics to the not-for-profit community, including various updates from the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Audit Preparation, and Not-for-Profit Accounting Updates. Born and raised in northern Ontario, Canada, Paul earned his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Lake Superior State University. Before joining Holyfield & Thomas, LLC, Paul gained valuable audit and assurance experience at a national public accounting firm in Ontario. Outside of work, Paul enjoys camping by motorcycle and vehicle, as well as spending time with his family and their dogs.
